1.3 million people die in traffic accidents every year. 94% of these accidents are caused by human error (source: WHO). Therefore, regulators push driver monitoring systems (DMS) and occupant monitoring systems (OMS). Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) become increasingly obligatory for automotive manufacturers. Machine learning is state-of-the-art for such image processing tasks. But a huge number of images is needed to train it. However, it’s difficult, costly and time-consuming to acquire images of so many real persons.

Infinite Faces generates a nearly indefinite number of synthetic faces for the training of machine learning for ADAS- The scans of only a few real persons suffice
- Infinite Faces then generates a nearly indefinite number of synthetic but ultra realistic faces
- Conveniently, these artificial faces automatically come with the previously defined annotations (also referred to as labels or marks) - there is no need to manually annotate every single image
- The use of 3D data allows the simulation of many different sensor types (RGB, ToF, LIDAR, NIR, ...) for the generation of training data
