Privacy Policy

We care about your privacy. We process your data exclusively within legislative regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In the following, we inform about important aspects of the data processing related to our web pages.

Communication

If you contact us by email or by web form, we store the specified information for no more than six months to answer your request and to handle possible follow-up questions. We do not disclose this information unless obtaining your prior permission.

Cookies

Our web pages use a so called session cookie. This is a small text file, that is stored by your browser on your device and erased when you quit your browser. Visitors to our web pages who do not wish to have cookies placed on their devices should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using our web pages, with the drawback that certain features of our web pages may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Web Analytics

We rely on a local installation of open source software Matomo for web analytics. By doing so, no information about web page visit nor visitors is disclosed to external service partners. We do collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We make use of IP addresses only in an anonymized manner and do not use them to identify our visitors. Our purpose in collecting this information is to better understand usage of our web pages. We delete any information specific to a visit after 180 days.

Newsletter

You may subscribe to a newsletter on our web pages. For this, we require your email address and your consent with receiving the newsletter. After subscribing to a newsletter, you will receive an email with a link to confirm your subscription. You may cancel a newsletter subscription any time by sending your cancellation to office@rechenraum.com. After receiving your cancellation, we are going to erase your data with respect to the newsletter as soon as possible.

Your Rights

In general, you are entitled rights on access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and opposition. If you suspect our data processing violates your rights or data privacy laws, you may complain to the regulatory authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde.
